What is Gold PTT?

• Novel acne therapy based on selective photothermolysis of sebaceous glands with gold microparticles
• PTT (PhotoThermal Theraphy), photosensitizer (gold microparticle) is excited and heat with specific laser (Q-Switched Nd:YAG) to effectively and safely treat acne with minimal downtime & discomfort.

Gold PTT Treatment

• Q-Switched Nd:YAG laser irradiation, the gold microparticles absorb laser and undergo plasmons to resonate to excite nearby electrons.
• Gold microparticles heating the sebaceous glands, affecting a portion of the hyperactive glands.
